The downhill ski area is the starting point for the park's cross-country skiing zone. Cross country ski trails totaling 72 kilometers carve the southern half of the park. Other areas of the park's magnificent terrain make for exciting snowmobiling, where over 100 kilometers of trails will take you through the heart of the park and along its northern perimeter. Ice fishing at Madge Lake is another popular activity, in addition to the unique experience of winter camping

Those who vacation in winter already know of its refreshing benefits. What better a setting for a business getaway. Start the morning with a meeting in the conference room at Duck Mountain Lodge, then spend the day in the midst of this enchanting winter wilderness.
